Just a couple of insta updates from this past week, a couple of new purchases and a lot of yummy treats! This week I’m preparing a lot of new posts featuring some new beauty products that I have been reviewing and getting ready to shoot the Triangl bikini at the beach. Summer is finally showing itself in Iceland and I’m so excited to shoot more outfits. Follow me on instagram here!
Well hello there! Let’s talk perfumes! When I started doing this I thought I didn’t have a very obvious nose when it came to perfumery. But it’s very clear, I like pink, cute and girly perfumes that are both fruity and flowery. (These are all of the perfumes that I have finished!)
My absolute favorites are my Marc Jacobs ones that I’m currently using and the Daisy Eau So Fresh is my second bottle that I’m going through. I also love their sunshine limited editions and I’m hoping I’ll get to buy one before the summer ends. There is just something about the freshness of the Marc Jacobs ones that I love. I’ve been using Oh Lola since this January and just finished the bottle so I restocked my Daisy Eau so Fresh. I used to use Daisy when I lived in LA so it brings back a lot of memories.
I was obsessed with Juicy Couture perfumes for a while and I literally tried all of them but Viva La Juicy was definitely the one I kept going back to. Miss Dior and Versace Bright Crystal were both “gifts” from my grandmother that I picked out myself for Christmas two years in a row and they were absolute favorites.
Hello readers! Sometimes I do other things than dressing myself, lol. So a couple of weeks ago I did a fashion shoot with a couple of friends for a new online fashion photography magazine called Dea. I love doing work like this because you can totally go wild. The theme we worked around was pattern mixing and it ended up being patterns influenced by countries all around the world. So check out the latest issue of Dea Magazine here if you like fashion photography or just pretty pictures.

Hey readers! I noticed a fun makeup blog challenge over at Erna Hrunds blog the Reykjavik Fashion Journal and I decided that I would do a couple of make up posts for the next couple of weeks starting with this one, the latest purchases in my make up bag! It’s not on the list but I’ll do my own version of this.
So I participated in a instagram giveaway last week with Make Up Store Iceland and I won! I got a goodie bag with a mascara, eyeshadow and this beautiful sparkling nail polish all from Make Up Store. I couldn’t be happier because I’m obsessed with their stuff. And then I bought two extra eyeshadows from their new line called Nomad. The colors are perfect for everyday ( the beige “desert” and the grey “mountain“). The mascara is called Maxlashes and I love what it does to my lashes, makes them extra long and I got asked if I got extensions! Well, stay tuned for a more close overhaul of my makeup routine, a look into my make up bag and more!
Ég tók nefnilega þátt í instagram leik Make Up Store í seinustu viku og vann!
