This dress had to be mine after staring at it for weeks now. It is from Kenza Zouiten’s new line Ivy Revel. I wanted to buy a skirt and a bodysuit from the line but the skirt sold out in my size and next up on the list was this lace dress that I think will be a classic in my closet for quite some time. So excited to receive it!

Er ég sú eina sem er búin að liggja yfir nýju fatalínu Kenza Zouiten?  Mig var búið að langa í leðurpilsið og samfelluna en pilsið var uppselt í minni stærð svo þessi kjóll var næstur á lista. Hversu fallegur klassískur blúndu kjóll með opið bak. Hlakka ekkert smá til að fá hann og held að þetta sé fullkominn jólakjóll.

The perfect winter outfit- a long black coat with some biker jeans. As time passes it gets darker and darker in Iceland. And right now we have to shoot pictures before 4 pm and it’s quite hard because I work until 7:30 pm. But somehow we gotta make it work. This was shot around 6 and that’s why its quite dark but I still love it. We went for simple make up and nude lips but focused on perfecting the texture of the skin (That’s what Steinunn Edda at Make Up Store does best). I am wearing all Zara with my new Tom Ford shades that I absolutely love.

Fullkomið vetraroutfit – síð kápa með biker gallabuxum. Þegar lengra líður á árið verður erfiðara og erfiðara að taka outfit myndir. Eins og staðan er núna verðum við að fara af stað fyrir klukkan fjögur sem er smá erfitt því ég vinn til 19:30 á kvöldin. En við látum það virka. Þessar myndir voru teknar um sex leytið og þess vegna eru þær með svona dökku yfirbragði sem er skemmtilegt. Við fókusuðum á létt make-up og nude varir með áherslu á að húðin væri fullkomin (Steinunn Edda er LANG best í því af öllum!). Ég er í öllu frá Zara og með nýju Tom Ford Snowdon sólgleraugun.

Fall, fall and more fall. This week I bought this real leather skirt from Zara to use for work and I think I will actually wear it a whole lot this season because you can wear it with everything. Also it matches the zipper details on my booties. Me and Thorsteinn (photographer) took a stroll downtown Reykjavik and to be honest we have never ventured downtown to shoot an outfit before. It’s a little chilly to wear a thin knit sweater now so I might layer this look with a leather jacket for a warmer look. Steinunn Edda at Make Up Store did my makeup for this look and I am absolutely in love with it. I am so obsessed with plum colored lipsticks right now and it was perfect with this look. Haust, haust og meira haust. Ég keypti mér þetta leður pils fyrr í vikunni til að nota í vinnuna og ég held að ég eigi eftir að nota það mjög mikið (eins og jakkann) í vetur. Það er án gríns hægt að nota pilsið við hvað sem er og svo er það akkurat í stíl við rennilásana á ökkla stígvélunum mínum. Ég og Þorsteinn (ljósmyndari) fórum í fyrsta skipti niður í bæ til að taka myndir og ég held að við eigum eftir að fara þangað svolítið oft eftir þetta. Það er samt eiginlega orðið of kalt til að vera bara í peysu niður í bæ svo ég myndi örugglega fara í jakka yfir þetta næst svo mér verði ekki eins kalt. Steinunn Edda í Make Up Store á heiðurinn af förðuninni. Ég er algjörlega háð dökkum varalitum núna og þessi Slim Lipstick í litnum Matt 401 er fullkominn fyrir haustið.
